Neural Stem Cells (NSCs)

Neural stem cells (NSCs) are multipotent cells capable of self-renewal and differentiation into neurons, astrocytes, and oligodendrocytes. They are characterized by the expression of specific markers, including Nestin, Sox2, and CD133. Nestin, an intermediate filament protein, is widely used to identify NSCs due to it being required for proper self-renewal. Ideal for neurodevelopment, neurodegeneration, and CNS repair research. New research in the application of intranasal Neural Stem Cells has increased interest into their potential efficacy as a minimally invasive neuroregenerative.
